Slum Eradication

The mission of slum eradication is part of what drives us at DevQuest. We created the Celestine Fund to direct capital towards achieving the goal of providing increased affordable housing in Kenya and Uganda. By creating viable real estate developments, which the majority of Ugandans can afford, we are not only securing a positive return on investment by addressing the existing gap in the marketplace. We’re also helping to provide people with affordable alternatives to unsafe, unhealthy informal settlements and allowing them to move into homes where they can thrive and begin a new legacy for their families.

The Celestine Fund specializes in investments providing capital financing and acquiring land to develop single-family and mixed use apartment buildings in sustainable ways to meet the needs of the rapidly growing middle class segment of these rapidly urbanizing markets
